Tuition and Fees

At Apt Academy, we believe education should be both purposeful and accessible.

Our program is grounded in conservative Christian values, including:

  • Kindness and mutual respect
  • Personal responsibility and accountability
  • Discipline and a strong work ethic
  • Clear communication and integrity
  • A safe, structured learning environment

We started Apt Academy to provide a high-quality, values-aligned education while working alongside families to make it attainable.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our goal is education and impact, not profit.

In many cases, tuition does not fully cover the cost of education, and we actively work with donors and sponsors to bridge the gap so all families can access a learning environment that works for their student(s).

Understanding Our Homeschool Model

Apt Academy operates under a homeschool model, not a traditional accredited school.

  • Students are registered as homeschool students
  • Families partner with Apt Academy for group instruction and academic support
  • Small classes allow individualized education and attention
  • Teachers tailor learning to each student’s readiness and ability

Student progress is based on mastery, not their age or time in-seat.

Once students complete the required coursework, they:

  • Complete all state-required homeschool testing (administered by our staff)
  • Advance when ready or have demonstrated mastery
  • Prepare for and pass the GED

Our model allows students to move forward confidently, with a focus on academic strength, personal responsibility, and preparedness for the future.

A Commitment to Educational Accessibility

We understand that choosing an alternative to traditional education is often a significant decision for families, both academically and financially.

At Apt Academy:

  • Most students receive some level of tuition support
  • We actively work to keep costs as accessible as possible
  • Our nonprofit model allows us to prioritize students over profit
  • We actively work with individual donors and local businesses to support educational accessibility

We believe families should not have to choose between their values and their child’s education.
