At Apt Academy, we believe a student’s education happens not only in the classroom but also in the community. It’s why we create a calendar that features events both at the school, for students and families, and in the Canby Community.

2025/2026 - Calendar of Events

May 25, 2026 - Memorial Day (No School)

We invite students, parents, and families to visit the school as we get ready to kick off another year! Tour the school, meet the teachers, meet classmates, and more.

First Thursday of every month, find us at our Apt Academy booth in downtown Canby! 5-8pm. We’re talking and meeting the community, and raising funds for the school.

Kindergarten is a big step, and to mark the transition, we invite all incoming kindergarteners and their families to meet the teachers, their classmates, and familiarize themselves with the school. We want the transition to be both easy and fun, and this night sets the stage.
Each fall, as a fundraiser, students collect pledges from friends, family, and community members and complete laps around the park to raise funds for Apt Academy.
Twice yearly, we invite parents and their students to come meet with teachers and discuss student progress.
To mark and celebrate the Christmas holiday, we host an annual concert and performance for families.
Each year, Apt students design, craft, and create gift boxes to sell as a fundraiser. It’s an opportunity for students to get creative.
Each year, to mark the end of the school year, students perform in a production they have worked on with a teacher and invite their families to attend.
Each year, at the end of the school year, Apt Academy hosts a family fun day in a local park. We provide burgers, hot dogs, drinks, and fun activities and games. Apt students, faculty, staff, and families invite the Canby community to join us!
